David Yonggi Cho is the founder/senior pastor-emeritus of Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea. YFGC is the world’s largest Protestant church. In 1958, he started the first worship service with Ja-shil Choi, who later became his mother-in-law. Today, YFGC has an attendance of more than 800,000 members.

In 1973, Cho founded the Osanri Choi Ja-sil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain to provide a secluded place of prayer, which receives more than a million visitors every year, including some 50,000 foreigners. With the growth of YFGC, Cho also founded Church Growth International in 1976. To help reform the society with the gospel and the love of Jesus, YFGC set up social welfare facilities, such as, Elim Welfare Town and Good People World Family.

Under Cho, the church owns a Christian television network and publishes their own newspapers, Kukmin Daily and Full Gospel Family Newspaper. The importance of education has also prompted the church to set up a 10-story World Evangelical Center (theology) and the renowned Hansei University (education).

Cho is married to Kim Sung-Hae and they have three sons.

Kong Hee is the founder/senior pastor of City Harvest Church, a Spirit-filled church that was birthed in 1989. CHC is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and innovative churches in the Far East. Principally known for his great gospel campaigns throughout Africa, Reinhard Bonnke started with 800 people meeting in a tent. That has since grown to as many as 1.6 million people in a single gathering. He is also the founder of the international ministry, Christ for all Nations. Since the start of the new millennium, through a host of major events in Africa and other parts of the world, the ministry has recorded some 52 million decisions for Jesus Christ.

Bonnke is also recognized for hosting Fire Conferences in many different countries all over the world, with the aim to equip church leaders and workers for evangelism. Lee Young-Hoon serves as the senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to this, Lee served as the president of Bethesda Christian University in Anaheim, California and was the senior pastor of both Tokyo Full Gospel Church and Los Angeles Full Gospel Church. Lee is also a Professor of Theology at Hansei University in South Korea, and is the current Chairman of the Theological Committee in the National Council of Churches of Korea.
